Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

This course is designed to teach fundamentals of target and field archery shooting, history, terminology, scoring, and rules. It will be necessary for the instructor to demonstrate, take attendance, develop quizzes and tests (both written and skill), conduct drills for skill improvement, create lesson plans, field student questions, repair equipment as needed, and set up and take down range prior to and after each class meeting.


A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is necessary along with appropriate proficiency, knowledge and experience participating, teaching or instructing Archery. Must be certified by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association in CPR.
