Assist in providing cultural resource management services for KLJ projects in a timely, accurate, and cost effective manner. Essential Functions Compliant with KLJ quality standards Complete field-work under supervision of the project manager or supervisor Assist with lab analysis of artifacts Assist with record searches Assist with creating and coordinating reports, documents and other data Utilize effective written and oral communication Responsibilities May begin to assist with Federal and State Agency coordination Assist with pedestrian inventory, site testing and reports Provide project correspondence, records and field notes Completion of site forms Participate in meetings Qualifications Either have a four year degree or be working towards a four year degree in anthropology, archaeology, history or a related field Must have completed an archaeological Field School Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate motorized vehicles Preferences: GIS background is desired Physical Requirements The physical demands described represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Hours and Travel This position requires the individual work 40 or more hours per week with 95% of the time spent in the field and 5% of the time is spent in the office. The role has a salary range of $23.00 - $30.00 per hour.
