Hourly Rate $46.50-$51.50, based on experience, autonomy of practice, and precepting.
Job Summary/Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive preventative and primary medical care to eligible students of the University of North Florida. Obtain detailed histories and perform physical examinations to diagnose, treat and monitor acute and chronic illness and injury in patients. Perform minor surgical procedures and laceration repair. Order and analyze lab tests and x-rays. Consult with, and refer to, medical staff and consultants as appropriate. Advise on preventative care. Consult with, and provide guidance to nursing and x-ray staff.
Required Qualifications
MSN, Post-Master’s or DNP degree program in Family Nurse Practitioner; active, clear FL APRN license; National Advanced Practice Certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
Cannot be a current UNF student for this position type.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in acute care.
