Qualifications
Bachelors and up to 3 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Department is willing to accept experience in lieu of education
Application Developer 1 - Bachelors and no experience
Application Developer 2 - Bachelors and 1 year of experience
Application Developer 3 - Bachelors and 3 years of experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Frameworks
- Knowledge of multiple scripting languages and ability to determine the best approach needed for each given project. (Knowledge of ColdFusion is a plus)
- Knowledge of database design and various database platforms. (SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, Advantage DB)
- Working knowledge of API Standards with the ability to build interactions with various software suites such as PowerBI, Electronic Health Records Software, REDCap Clinical Research database and survey implementation, Qualtrics Survey Application, Office 365 suite of tools, Zoho Web Software Suite, Smartsheet, and other third-party software.
- Knowledge of Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) Server, DICOM Imaging Standards, and Health IT Security Standards.
- Knowledge of Cloud-based systems such as AWS and Azure
Salary: salary commensurate with education/experience.
