Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager of Digital Philanthropy and Student Engagement, the Annual Giving Assistant will play an important role in supporting the Office of Annual Giving’s fundraising and engagement initiatives for Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of campus-wide student philanthropy initiatives

  • Recruit and engage student volunteers to assist with Annual Giving videos, photo shoots, and donor communications

  • Film personalized video messages for donors and prospective donors using ThankView email marketing platform

  • Assist with student engagement and on-campus events related to Giving Day 2023

  • Enter data into Raiser’s Edge NXT, Berklee’s advancement database, to support the key functions of the team

Additional tasks include:

  • Assist with mailings, including folding letters and stuffing envelopes

  • Clean and finalize Excel spreadsheets for mass-mailings and emails

  • Other responsibilities, as assigned.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards Berklee College of Music, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and philanthropy

  • Comfortable being on camera and filming simple videos

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work with diverse populations

  • Time management

  • Attention to detail

  • Comfortable working remotely

  • Professional demeanor and ability to work independently and efficiently

  • Basic knowledge of the Google suite: gmail, drive, calendar, docs, sheets, etc...
