The College of Nursing at the University of Cincinnati is seeking an Annual Adjunct-Clinical Instructor to teach in the Undergraduate Program. An Annual Adjunct receives a single appointment for an entire academic year (12 months), accruing pay over two semesters but paid in twelve equal monthly installments. On a part-time limited basis, the Clinical Adjunct Faculty Member's primary responsibility is patient care, patient support, and/or teaching and program development in the clinical sciences. May also contribute to clinical research, the scholarly and service missions of the university, administrative service, and other educational activities.

• Primary responsibility is patient care, patient support, and/or teaching and program development in the clinical sciences.
• Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
• Contribute to clinical research, the scholarly and service missions of the university, administrative service, and other educational activities.
• May serve as an academic advisor for students and evaluate student coursework.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
• Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all university-related communications.
• Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.

Master's degree in Nursing.

• Prior clinical teaching experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject.
• Must have outstanding writing skills to present research in written format.
• Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.
   

• Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
