JOB DUTIES
Description
The Application Analyst performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications and their hardware. They design, build, test, and support new applications and modules within their portfolio and/or service line. The Analyst must achieve in-depth knowledge of the software application, hardware architecture and operational workflows, as well as understand the policies, procedures and constraints of the clinical or business operation supported by the application. The Analyst works with business owners, vendors, and other ISS team members to evaluate and recommend solutions to complex problems and requests. Applications Supported, but not limited to: Visage PACS, ImageGrid DICOM router, AiDoc, Siemens Syngo Dynamics, GE MUSE , GE ComboLab, Philips Xper-WiTT, Medtronics Lifewatch, PedCath reporting system, Medicalis worklist, Nuance PSOne, mPower, Modlink, CodeRyte, Dose Monitor, MagView, Hologic and Aegis, LifeImage, Carrot Medical C-suite, Philips DynaCad, Vitrea VES, Siemens Syngo.Via, AGFA Enterprise Imaging, Butterfly, MLK and OIC applications and network, Endovault, SPM, Smith&Nephew etc. This is a flex-hybrid role which will require you to be onsite at least 1 day per month and within 12 standard hours of being asked to come in, or as required by operational need. Please note that there are no reimbursements for travel to “home office” location. Each employee must complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager which will outline arrangement parameters and aids both parties in fully understanding expectations. Arrangements are regularly evaluated, and are subject to termination. Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $95,900 – $222,100 annually. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately between the minimum and $143,000 annually.

Required Skills and Abilities Experience with one, or more, of the following applications: Visage PACS, ImageGrid DICOM router, AiDoc, Siemens Syngo Dynamics, GE MUSE , GE ComboLab, Philips Xper-WiTT, Medtronics Lifewatch, PedCath reporting system, Medicalis worklist, Nuance PSOne, mPower, Modlink, CodeRyte, Dose Monitor, MagView, Hologic and Aegis, LifeImage, Carrot Medical C-suite, Philips DynaCad, Vitrea VES, Siemens Syngo.Via, AGFA Enterprise Imaging, Butterfly, MLK and OIC applications and network, Endovault, SPM, Smith&Nephew etc. Knowledge of HL7 and IHE/DICOM Standards Broad and/or in-depth knowledge of multiple areas of focus in application specialty areas. Knowledge of systems and functions, including design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation. Ability to research, organize, analyze, and synthesize data to support effective decision-making. Must be detail oriented and have a knack for probing for information, in order to fully understand the underlying needs that influence how a system should be configured/ organized. Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks. Ability to work effectively as a team player and work with people of all backgrounds, at all levels. Effective leadership skills and strong customer service orientation. Superior organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to convey technical information to all levels of application users in a specific, clear, and concise manner. Ability to remain calm in difficult and stressful situations. Must be able to recognize problems, evaluate, and refer to the appropriate channels for action. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train, support, and work collaboratively with business owners, team members, and management. Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management. Required Knowledge and Experience Demonstrate proficiency with information systems technology, which also includes Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, and other systems. Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design. Bachelor’s Degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training. Minimum 6 years’ experience in a medium to large size medical center with increasing levels of responsibilities and complexity of projects and applications.
