Title:  Analytics Assistant, Baseball

Position Summary:

This position will review and provide feedback regarding player analytics and stats for the Duke Baseball Team.  Additionally, this position will coordinate all efforts with coaches and support staff.

This is a part time paid position and is not benefits eligible.

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail with a specific focus on statistics, visual statistics, play by play video and how to utilize this information to build growth for players
  • Foster a working environment to provide successful communication and collaboration amongst the athletic performance support groups

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

  • Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage young women.
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills needed
  • The scope of this position requires weekend, evening and possible holiday hours
  • Thrive in fast paced environment, possess a keen attention to details, and ability to multi-task

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 year experience with baseball
