Under the direction of the Center Director, this position is responsible for the management, planning and implementation of farming operations, field research, physical plant operations, grounds and building maintenance, irrigation, equipment purchasing and maintenance, and related administrative functions. The Agricultural Supervisor will supervise field and custodial staff to maintain an orderly, safe, and efficient operation; participate in safety training and ongoing reviews; and in logistical planning and implementation of extension and education activities. This position will serve as a member of the Center's executive management team and is expected to participate in facilities planning and budgeting, including providing recommendations regarding infrastructure, resources, and staffing needs. The Agricultural Supervisor will also participate in planning meetings with other REC Center Superintendents, ANR Facilities Planning and Management, and ANR Risk Services. This position includes verbal and written communication to staff, vendors, contractors, and other parties in Spanish.

This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.

Salary: Min $58,500.00/year to Mid $83,400.00/year
