Job Summary
The Extension Specialist for Planning and Accountability will provide leadership for planning and reporting for the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. The position will coordinate and manage the plan of work development process at all levels (county to state); coordinate reporting systems; provide training on both planning and reporting; support data management, compilation and interpretation; provide key metrics for marketing and communications; and manage state and federal reporting requirements. The specialist will work closely with the Extension administrative team through all aspects of the position, and coordinate with communications and marketing to showcase Extension’s impact both internally and externally. Strong organizational and communications skills are integral for the position. The position will be considered for either a remote or hybrid work arrangement within Kentucky, with periodic travel required.
