Summary

Conceptualizes, oversees and evaluates the universitywide communication strategies for alumni relations and annual fund to promote and develop positive communication outcomes with alumni and donors

Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborates with appropriate university departments to strategically include annual fund messaging, stories, ads, updates and results in universitywide communications and platforms
  • Oversees telemarketing efforts universitywide
  • Assists with the planning, creation and execution of various print and digital campaigns including; direct mail, email, mobile, social media and other various solicitations
  • Develops and maintains a detailed strategic marketing and communications production calendar to maintain deadlines for magazine, broadcast email campaigns, e-newsletter and other related projects
  • Serves as a liaison between outside vendors and internal departments to manage various technology platforms used to communicate with alumni and donors
  • Creates and implements communications and marketing strategies, for assigned departments, including collecting data and analyzing the effectiveness of communication channels to maximize the involvement of alumni/donors throughout the university
  • Coordinates the timely delivery of strategic communications in print, on the website and through social media in alignment with the university's fundraising and branding campaign
  • Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Moderate amount of experience working in marketing, public relations, communications or other related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or greater in marketing, communications or a related field of study

Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.
