Job Description

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join a team of over 900 NPs and PAs across MSK who are dedicated to delivering compassionate, expert and comprehensive cancer care to patients and families. The APP will collaborate with designated physicians and healthcare team members to provide medical care to an assigned caseload of outpatients with cutaneous malignancies through shared and independent visits.

This role will cover cases at the MSK Koch Center in Moh's Surgery. The APP will assist in the MOHS surgical procedures and will also perform pre-operative and post-operative follow-ups.

Hours: 10 hour shifts, 8a-6p Mon-Fri

Location: MSK Koch

You Will:

  • Deliver the highest standard of care in the diagnosis and management of a respective population and participating in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum.
  • Conduct routine skin cancer screenings, photographic-assisted follow-up of high-risk melanoma patients, symptom management visits, management and disposition of patients who need to be seen urgently
  • Perform procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and simple excisions.

You Have:

Qualifications needed for a PA candidate are

*Graduate from an accredited PA program*NCCPA certification

*1+ years of related dermatology or surgical experience*Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure*A *BLS certification

Qualifications needed for an NP RNFA candidate are:*Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations*Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)*1+ years of related dermatology or surgical experience*Related National NP certification with RNFA certifications *BLS certification

Pay Range $136,000-180,000K
