Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption. Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.

Job Description

WE ARE:

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join a team of over 900 NPs and PAs across MSK who have dedicated their lives to deliver compassionate, comprehensive cancer care to patients and their loved ones, supporting the mission, philosophy, standards, goals and objectives of the institution and department.

*Site coverage includes Manhattan and potential PST NY/NJ regional locations

Hours: Four, 10 hour shifts per week, Monday-Saturday, 8 am - 6 pm

YOU ARE:

YOU WILL:

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Provide comprehensive care to pre-surgical testing patients
• Conduct history and physical assessments
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and medical staff to optimize patients for the Operating Room

YOU HAVE:

• Master's degree in Nursing or graduate from accredited Physician Assistant program
• NYS RN & NP license/registration or NYS PA license/registration
• NJ RN & APRN or NJ PA License
• Prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
• 3+ years of related clinical experience
• Related national certification
