Job Description

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for our Urgent Care Center (UCC) and Clinical Decision Unit (CDU). You will deliver care to our patients experiencing oncologic emergencies as well as patients who transition to our short length of stay Observation Unit. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join a team of over 900 NPs and PAs across MSK who are dedicated to delivering compassionate, expert and comprehensive cancer care to patients and families.

HOURS: Night shift 13.5 hours shifts, 7p-8:30a 12 shifts a month

Weekend and holiday rotation is required

This role is looking for experienced APPs

You Will:* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members* Deliver comprehensive care to UCC and CDU patients* Meet the medical needs of patients* Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR AN NP CANDIDATE ARE:

  • Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • A Minimum of 2+ years of clinical RN or NP experience
  • Related National NP certification
  • BLS/ ACLS certification
  • Previous Emergency Dept, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Oncology experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR A PA CANDIDATE ARE:

  • Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Previous Emergency Dept, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Oncology experience preferred

Pay Range $136,000.00-$180,000.00
