Summary of Job Duties:

The Center is located in Stuttgart, AR. This individual is responsible for instructing ESL classes, developing lesson plans and other instructional material, assisting with coordinating classes, maintaining student records, performing involved office duties requiring critical thinking skills and independent judgment, provide assistance to centers lead teachers.
The Workforce Ed Instructor is responsible for all aspects of the Adult Education program. Duties include, but are not limited to:
*Greet and guide new clients into the center.
*Answer questions correctly about Adult Education classes, schedule and policies.
*Schedule all students for the TABE-E test.
*Monitor student’s attendance
*Administer all TABE test for students.
*Performing all student intakes.
*Adding new students to DRC.
*Entering data accurately into LACES.
*Maintaining an accurate call log.
*Providing ESL instruction.
*Assist with classroom functions as needed

Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent to an Bachelor’s with a current Arkansas teachers license. Preferred qualification of bilingual (Spanish and English).
