Friends University is seeking to fill an Admissions Processing Clerk position in Wichita Kansas. This position assists with the operational activity associated with the collection, maintenance, and dissemination of students’ admissions and application records in a high-level clerical capacity. This will include entering data from source documents within time limits. Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry. Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output. Providing administrative support to transcript processing operations.  Work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Skills & Requirements

Three years’ experience in data entry, clerical and customer service required.  Demonstrated organizational skills required, as is intermediate computer proficiency.  Microsoft Office experience as well as familiarity with electronic records and student information systems preferred.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  An earned Associate Degree is highly desired.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.   Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner is required. Ability to work with a diverse community across various age and educational levels.

Pay Range: $12 - $14 per hour
