UVA Wise Office of Admissions is accepting applications for an Admissions Operations Assistant. This is a full-time benefited position located on our Wise Campus. The Admissions Operations Assistant will assist with processing admissions materials ensuring accurate data entry and quality assurance. The Admissions Operations Assistant must be able to work in an organized manner, be detail-oriented, and have the flexibility to manage competing priorities as needed by the Office of Admissions. Timely, efficient, and accurate record maintenance is essential.

Job Duties:

* Assists in the assessment and processing of prospect, inquiry and application materials into our Student Information System, Slate CRM, and all other technologies and software applications used by the Office of Admissions. 

* Ensures that all work meets accuracy and timeliness standards established by supervisors.

* Performs daily document retrieval from various systems to import into our Admissions and college CRM and database systems.

* Performs regular quality assurance audits on prospect, inquiry and application materials and takes corrective action as needed.

* Works and learns independently with minimum supervision.

* In addition, other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

* At least one year of experience in a higher education or professional office setting.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Outlook, Excel). * Experience with Salesforce, Slate, and Jenzabar software programs preferred.

Required Skills:

* Strong computer skills and an ability to learn software quickly.

* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

* Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

This position is a non-exempt position with an annual salary of $35,313. This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers.
