Position Summary

Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions the incumbent will provide administrative support with a broad array of recruitment and other admission activities aimed at strengthening the quality of our diverse, national applicant pool and increasing the yield of our priority accepts and other most desirable accepted students.  This will be accomplished by working with the Associate Director and Associate Dean of Enrollment Management to implement and manage programs in our CRM Slate.  Incumbent will assist with the maintenance of campaigns for prospects and admits, process and integrate slate information, handle west coast recruitment events.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide timely and accurate data entry using SIS, WebAdmit, and Slate and assist with implementation of data integration and programming in Slate
  • Correspond with prospective applicants and applicants via Inbox in Slate
  • Review Slate applications for incomplete status and send notifications, assign completed applications to coordinators
  • Review WebAdmit applications and send correspondence to appropriate parties
  • Assist with the planning and execution of all Admissions & Financial Aid events (Information Sessions, Open Houses, Admitted Students Days, School Visits)
  • Additional related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus two years of related experience
  • Must demonstrate a strong customer focus with excellent writing and oral skills. Ability to communicate complex information simply, both verbally and in writing, required
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, presentation and interpersonal skills. Must be able to collaborate well with team members and perform work independently
  • Must be timely, self-motivated, detail­oriented, and possess patience, tact, and an ability to function effectively with a broad constituency. Ability to exercise good judgment, work under pressure and deadlines, and carry out multiple tasks required. Must demonstrate a high level of discretion while handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Computer literacy required including proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word). Must be comfortable navigating complex computer databases and demonstrate an ability to learn and adapt quickly to change, especially with technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in student services preferred. Proficiency in Slate preferred
