Summary

Assists in the development, management and execution of all virtual and face-to-face visitor programming, including programming off campus, to support admissions recruitment goals

Essential Job Functions

  • Manages admissions events as part of the recruitment plan, including; scheduling locations and creating agendas to promote positive and effective outcomes
  • Develops event staffing plans to support the execution of the event including; coordinating faculty and departmental staff to support the program
  • Manages program logistics and mitigates on site issues with external and internal participants
  • Oversees specific departmental building operations including; student staffing, daily tour scheduling and inventory
  • Monitors daily tour survey results and makes recommendations, as needed, for continuous improvement
  • Oversees and coordinates the registration process for admissions events
  • Develops training materials, coordinates schedules and provides feedback and coaching to event and student staff
  • Reviews and assesses the admissions events programs including logistics, facilities and guest experience to make recommendations and modifications, as necessary
  • Completes general admissions duties as needed (e.g. lead campus tours, conduct administrative tasks, etc.)
  • Maintains records per department guidelines
  • Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in guest relations, event planning, marketing or other related experience
  • Valid U.S. driver's license


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing or a related field of study
  • Prior event experience
