Job Description | This full-time, entry level position plays an important role on teams that are directly involved with the recruitment of prospective students, the review of their applications to the University, and the active participation in yield activities to ensure the enrollment of an exceedingly talented and diverse class. An Admissions Counselor travels to key high schools in an assigned domestic and/or international territory and interacts with students, parents, high school counselors, and alumni in that region and others. Many of these interactions will be within the framework of a Client Relationship Manager to provide support for these year round efforts. An Admissions Counselor conducts information sessions on campus and virtually, confers with admitted students/families, and contributes to the success of numerous visitation/recruitment programs. Collegial interaction with several University offices and external partners is ongoing. The position may also include supervision of student employees and recruitment of specific cohorts of students as defined by University enrollment objectives. Additional special projects may be assigned by the Vice President for Undergraduate Enrollment, Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Admissions, Director of Admissions, or other senior leaders.
