Duties
Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to conduct high school recruitment visits and communicate admissions policies and procedures
  • Represent Kettering University at college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events
  • Schedule and coordinate travel activities for recruitment events
  • Meet with prospective students and families to provide information about Kettering University
  • Present information sessions to groups of prospective students and families
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective students and families via phone, mail, and email
  • Evaluate applications for admission and serve as a resource for students, parents, and counselors
  • Advocate on behalf of students seeking admission to the university
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and executing recruitment programs and special projects

Recruitment and Outreach (40%):
  • Recruit prospective undergraduate students to Kettering University.
  • Represent Kettering University at college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events.
  • Meet individually with prospective students and families.
  • Present information sessions to large and small groups.

Application Evaluation (40%):
  • Evaluate applications for admission.
  • Serve as a resource for students, parents, and counselors regarding admission policies and procedures.
  • Provide referrals for students needing additional support services.

Program Planning and Execution (20%):
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation of recruitment programs and special projects.
