Job Details | ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR Coastal Carolina University invites applications for an Admissions Counselor position in the Office of Admissions and Merit Awards. This position serves as a member of the undergraduate recruitment staff with responsibilities for recruitment and territory management. . Duties include, but are not limited to: recruiting in an assigned territory by planning and engaging in travel; counseling students and parents; reviewing applications and making admissions decisions; communicating the University message through individual contacts and group presentations at on and off-campus events; meeting the enrollment goals of the university as outlined in the strategic plan; and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree is required. Prior relevant experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required. Salary range: $31,561.00 (minimum) – $44,977.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. Must be willing to travel alone extensively and work flexible hours. Overnight and weekend travel and work are required. |
