Job Summary
Auburn University is seeking an Administrator of Outreach Programs! 
The candidate in this position plans, coordinates, delivers and manages Korea Corner’s outreach educational services and programs to accomplish its goals and objectives including providing Korean language and culture programs, the Korean American grassroots conference, Korean American youth leadership development programs, and any other activities bridging the gap between Korean community and non-Korean communities.

Essential Functions
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
  • Communicate in Korean and English bilingual with stakeholders and supervisors.
  • Develops and coordinates outreach programs for targeted groups; assesses program needs, organizes program material; evaluates program success.
  • Meets with clientele to define needs or problem areas.
  • Assists in the development of or develops marketing plans and publicity materials for distribution to target audience.
  • Manages and assists in the development of budgets and maintains financial records related to a specific activity, project or service.
  • Develops and maintains database and/or website related to a specific activity, project or service.
  • Acts as project manager in planning and coordinating activities to support a specific program.
  • May research, prepare, and/or write grants, applications and fundraising proposals to sources at local, state and national levels.
  • May conduct research for an activity, program or service and writes articles and reports and develops strategies and avenues to disseminate the information and research.

Minimum Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications
Level I Bachelor’s degree in discipline appropriate to position with no experience. ($34,500-$51,800)
Level II Bachelor’s degree in discipline appropriate to position plus 2 years experience in the design, implementation, delivery and management of educational programs/services. ($37,900-$56,900)
Substitutions allowed for Experience:
When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.

1. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, a strong appreciation for the ethic of customer service,
2. Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines, and appreciate diversity among constituent groups
3. Possess strong computer skills and be able to apply problem-solving techniques to the management of programs
4. Positive, team-oriented attitude; an entrepreneurial spirit
5. Ability to think creatively.
