Job Summary
The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences at Auburn University is seeking candidates for the position of Administrator I, Outreach Programs to assist with the Certification for Aquaculture Professionals (CAP) program.
This is a one year limited term position and is funded from external sources. Continuation of employment is contingent upon availability of funds. 
Essential Functions
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Assist with developing online materials specific to aquaculture.
Convert existing documents to new versions and update material as needed.
Prepare short summary presentations and/or introductory and intermediate level training materials.
Assist with editing publications and developing extension/outreach materials.
Provide online technical support to participants.
Revise and develop CAP materials as the program is upgraded and expanded.
*Perform other duties as assigned/needed by supervisor.

Education Level Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Field of Study
Aquaculture or closely related field.
Years of Experience No experience required at Level I
Area of Experience
Level I requires no experience; Salary range $31,300 – $52,100
 
Level II requires two years of experience in the design, implementation, delivery and management of educational programs/services; Salary range $35,000 – $58,400
Requirements for Additional Job Levels

Education Level Indicated education is required; no substitutions allowed.
Field of Study
Years of Experience When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.

Minimum Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and communication skills are required;  Must be capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
Self-motivated, organized, and good at problem solving.
*Knowledge/experience in aquaculture production and research.
 
Minimum Technology Skills
Knowledge/experience in online learning systems, specifically Instructure products.
Experience in developing presentations in Powerpoint and working with Sharepoint.
*Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.); Canvas (Instructure)
Minimum License and Certifications

Desired Qualifications
A master’s degree in Aquaculture is desired/preferred.

Salary Range $31,300 - $58,400
