Job Summary
The U.S. Geological Survey Unit housed at Auburn University’s College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment is seeking candidates for an Administrative Support Specialist II to provide varied and high level administrative and technical support to the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment, with significant emphasis on more complex administrative responsibilities.

Essential Functions
  • Gathers information and prepares various reports and correspondence; researches and resolves issues. Prepares federal and University paperwork for grants and contracts originating in the Unit.
  • Provides budget tracking and coordination for a unit or department.
  • Coordinates large or complex projects or events.
  • Advises others on processes, procedures, and services; resolves policy related or procedural
    problems.
  • Reviews and verifies documentation for completeness and compliance with policies and
    procedures including grant budgets and budget justifications.
  • Performs specialized technical duties and coordinates processes.
