The Department of Urology currently has an outstanding opportunity for a full time Administrative Specialist to join their team.

POSITION PURPOSE
The primary duties of the Administrative Specialist will be to support the department’s leadership (Chair, Service Chiefs, Vice Chairs, and standing committees and affiliated councils) with high level administrative support.

In addition, this position will provide executive level administrative support to department of urology faculty and expected to work with minimal direction, prioritize tasks, and must be self-directed. The AS will work in a dynamic, challenging environment where requirements can be expected to grow in complexity and be able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.

The AS will work under the supervision of the Vice Chair of Finance & Administration, and work closely with the Associate Director and Assistant to the Chair

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Department Administrative Support & Project Management (60%)

The individual in this position is regularly responsible for organizing and managing projects of significant size and scope for the Department. This individual must be able to manage projects in light of all other priorities and keep them on time, on task and on budget. Projects vary, but include independent organization and management of Department-wide programs and initiatives.
