Job Description

The ASU Knowledge Enterprise (KE) is seeking a personable, experienced, and dynamic administrative professional to provide high level administrative calendar support to the Vice President of Corporate Engagement & Strategic Partnerships. They will perform administrative tasks such as managing high level meetings for the VP, booking travel, and expensing each trip upon completion, and assist with coordination of visits. This position will work closely with the corporate engagement operations team and will be integral in providing excellent administrative support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Salary Range

$41,256 - $57,300 per year; DOE

Essential Duties

  • Manage Vice President's calendar, coordinating closely with executive offices both internally and externally to ensure key participants are included in meetings.
  • Coordinates and assists with domestic and international travel.
  • Compiles, prepares, and maintains background material related to meetings, events, speaking engagements and travel
  • Answers phones, greets visitors, and directs questions to appropriate offices for resolution
  • Provides back-up to other staff in the office.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of executive-level administrative support experience; OR, Nine (9) years of executive-level administrative support experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Working Environment

  • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse
  • Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work
  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds
  • Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts
  • Clearly communicate to perform essential functions
  • Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/ laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals
