The Poldrack Lab in the Stanford University Department of Psychology is looking for an experienced Administrative Services Administrator who will act as a key administrative support role. The Administrative Services Administrator will be the primary administrative resource for the Poldrack lab/ Reporting to the P.I (Russ Poldrack, PhD), the ASA will be responsible for overseeing all the administrative operations, overseeing, and coordinating complex conferences, drafting documents and correspondence, and providing supervision and leadership to students and temporary workers. This position requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal incumbent will have prior experience supporting research in psychology or cognitive neuroscience laboratories and/or experience in executive support roles. This position is eligible for hybrid/remote work arrangement. This is a 1-year fixed-term position with the possibility of renewal.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. Experience supporting research in psychology or cognitive neuroscience laboratories and/or experience in executive support roles strongly preferred.

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
  • Occasionally use a telephone.
  • Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures . The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate. The expected pay range for this position is $62,000 to $120,000 per annum.
