SummaryProvide cutting-edge administrative support to the school director to facilitate daily operations. Relieve the director of routine and non-routine administrative tasks, which can be confidential in nature. Serve as a liaison between the director and other faculty, staff, and students with both the School of Inclusive Teacher Education (SITE) and college of EDHD. Produce correspondence, generate reports, and gather research data to provide at the director’s request, along with necessary times throughout the year. Support the development of policies related to the school operations. Maintain and monitor the director’s calendar. Organize position searches for faculty and adjuncts. Responsible for schedule development, course registrations, and graduate student travel reimbursement. Manage the Student Support Team process by organizing document intake, scheduling meetings for students, and providing accurate and timely follow-up information with both faculty and students. Manage SITE’s electronic platforms, including the school’s email and calendar, Canvas page, and SharePoint files.
Essential Functions- Responsible for day-to-day school admin operations, which includes maintaining SITE electronic platforms.
- Relieve director of routine and non-routine administrative tasks and serve as liaison with the university officials and the public.
- Research and respond within a timely manner to questions and requests from faculty, students, and staff.
- Maintain and monitor director’s calendar and schedule appointments – coordinate meeting arrangements and communicate on behalf of all faculty.
- Answer phone calls and assist students, faculty, and staff that come into the office suite looking for information, directions, etc.
- Reconcile P-Card transactions and creates requisitions for faculty searches.
- Provide crucial support to the Student Support Team by managing document collection, scheduling meetings with students, and providing timely communication.
- Attend school meetings and retreats, and draft and post minutes of the meetings.
- Coordinate schedule development and textbook orders with program coordinators.
- Execute appropriate recruitment for search and hiring procedures for adjuncts, including advertising, onboarding paperwork, etc.

- Establish and maintain credential files, coordinate with candidates, assist with interview schedules, coordinate travel and lodging, and submit expense reimbursements.
- Submit work orders, maintenance requests, and ITS requests.
Minimum QualificationsExperience
- One-year related experience required
Education
- High school diploma or GED required

- Ability to draft office correspondence
- Ability to effectively utilize audio/visual equipment
