Administrative Operations Coordinator - School of Architecture

The Administrative Operations Coordinator for the School of Architecture provides administrative and operational support to the directors and school in a professional, timely and proactive manner. Additionally, the position is involved in the execution of the communications strategy to internal and external stakeholders.

The position serves as liaison to other university offices and serves as a main contact for the office in responding to inquiries from faculty, staff, students, and visitors in a professional, courteous manner. The organization and maintenance of confidential records and procedures are coordinated for study abroad program and other school based programs, faculty salaries, position reappointments, promotion and tenure support, recruitment, accreditation, faculty searches, scholarship coordination, faculty evaluations, staff and faculty personnel records and school budget information.

Transactional duties include creation of the timetable for each program, completing and filing standard university forms; fixed assets and inventory, and ordering supplies; maintaining electronic calendars; administering travel arrangements; lead contact for special events including career fairs and awards; maintaining minutes of meetings; maintaining web site updates; providing guidance for wage staff; greeting guests and answering phones; and other general administrative duties. All duties are completed in a confidential and accurate manner.
