Position Summary: 

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Support Services, incumbent will serve as an office lead for the Environmental Services department.  Provides centralized administrative support, such as purchase requisitions, invoices, employee documentation and compliance reports, etc. Serves as a main contact for EVS co-workers, providing support and tracking of uniforms, time off requests, timekeeping, daily internal department communication, etc. Provides analytical support, conducts research, compiles and validates the integrity of data for department operational decisions and compliance.  Utilizes a variety of complex databases, graphics, spreadsheets, and software applications to create reports, compile statistical data, and make recommendations for process improvements.  Perform other routine administrative support as requested. The identification of essential functions below is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position, nor does it restrict the duties which may be assigned if such duties reasonably relate to the position.

Salary Range: 

 

Hourly Rate  Minimum   $30.44              Midpoint      $39.65             Maximum  $48.86

 

Required Qualifications:

 

 

Ability to act independently to solve problems and develop recommendations for approval

Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent education and experience

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Ability to manage multiple on-going assignments and successfully meet deadlines

Demonstrated ability to create and produce complex reports using computer programs such as Excel, Access, Word, and Powerpoint

Ability to independently research and confirm information, and perform search and document retrieval from a variety of sources

Excellent computer skills and experience using MSOffice products, specifically Word and Excel

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Resourcefulness to identify and search for information that is not readily available

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing administrative work functions in progressively more complex and analytical/support role within a healthcare environment/unit

Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, and analyze data and present results in a clear and concise format
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem solving, critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
