Summary of Duties:

The College of Education is actively searching for an experienced Administrative Manager to join our dynamic team. The Administrative Manager is responsible for developing, planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the administrative, personnel, and fiscal functions for three Departments within the College of Education: Kinesiology, Educational Psychology, and Educational Leadership/Sport Management. They will manage office support staff, participate in fiscal planning, advise Departmental leaders on policy and procedure pertinent to administrative matters, and represent the Departments to internal and external constituencies.


Required Qualifications:

  • Positions require a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and four (4) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.

  • Demonstrated experience working with budgets and analyzing financial data.

  • Demonstrated experience processing personnel actions.
