The student research assistant position will work under the direct supervision of laboratory staff to assist in conducting research studies focusing on cancer.  Responsibilities and duties may include: assisting with sample preparation under supervision; research study data entry and reporting; housekeeping duties such as cleaning glassware, refilling pipette tip boxes, and autoclaving items for sterilization; assisting in other study-related activities as required. Work schedules are flexible and change according to student’s class schedule each semester.

Education/Experience:

Student must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at OSU; Requires successful completion of a background check; selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $9.00 to $11.00
