Position Summary: |
The Administrative Hearings Officer (AHO) is responsible for University of Colorado system-wide hearings and final written determinations following formal investigations for allegations of sexual misconduct, including sexual assault, dating and domestic violence and stalking. The AHO is the decision-maker for sexual misconduct adjudications for all campuses in compliance with the university’s Sexual Misconduct, Intimate Partner Violence, and Stalking Policy (APS 5014). In collaboration with the Administrative Hearing Coordinator and Vice President of Compliance and Equity/System Title IX Coordinator (VP), the AHO presides over pre-hearing conferences and live hearings, makes evidentiary findings, and authors written determinations. Each of the four campuses remains responsible for the investigations, and any applicable disciplinary decisions for either students or employees. The AHO reports to the VP in the System Office of Ethics, Risk and Compliance (OERC) and is exempt from the State of Colorado Classified system. |

What We Offer: |
Salary: The anticipated hiring range has been established at $185,000 - $205,000. CU System Administration takes into consideration a combination of the selected candidate’s education, training and experience as it relates to the position, as well as the position’s scope and complexity, internal pay equity and external market value when determining a salary level for potential new employees.
