This Administrative Coordinator II, under general supervision, provides administrative support for specialized activities and/or projects in the College of Arts and Sciences Development Office. The selected candidate for this position will also coordinate office support activities and assist in the coordination of daily workflow. Daily office duties may include, but are not limited to reviewing and signing documents, attending meetings or committees, analyzing programs, projects, or initiatives, and monitoring project timelines. What you need to know

Salary: $36,512.00 - $46,924.80

Work Schedule: Evening and weekend hours are required.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Three years of experience in office administration.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications. 

  • Interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Planning and organization skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to cultivate and maintain professional working relationships with people of diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support - Provides administrative support and coordination to the Assistant Vice President of Development, development officers, and development coordinators.  Responsible for bulk contact reports. Conducts donor research and prepares bios, and updates prospective database. Monitors development budgets and updates financial reports.

  • Office Support - Coordinates daily office support activities and assists in the coordination of daily workflow. Creates, maintains, and monitors retention of office files and records. Is responsible for confidential donor information and updating donor memberships and renewals to councils. Coordinates VIP campus tours for donors and prospective students.  Oversees college donor gifts and inventory. Creates and maintains donor directories, and updates website content.  Serves as office manager and liaisons with dean’s office and the TAM Foundation.  Assists the Development Team as needed.

  • Development Events and Logistical Support - Is responsible for the coordination of Development Advisory Board and Council logistics, including bi-annual council events (fall and spring), Dean’s Advisory Council events & meetings (fall and spring), TAMU Alumni Gala A&S Table Coordination (fall), and TAMU Aggie 100 A&S Table Coordination (fall).
