What We Want

The Administrative Coordinator II provides administrative support to the Division of Marketing and Communications. Duties are varied, ranging from planning, and providing logistical and administrative support for meeting or other special functions.

What you need to know

Salary Range: $36,512 - 57,366/Annually (Commensurate based on hire's experience).

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Three years of administrative office experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Aggie Buy, Concur and Laserfiche programs

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations

  • Ability to handle several high priority projects at one time

  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive matters

  • Must work independently

  • Effective communications, organizational, and customer service skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the Texas A&M University structure, campus administrators, faculty and staff, and their respective organizations

  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations

  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

Responsibilities

  • Business Support - Assists the Executive Assistant to Senior Leadership with office and business-related operational functions, including ordering office supplies and equipment, conference room and golf cart scheduling, reporting office maintenance issues, and departmental credit card purchases. Perform inventory of all department owned equipment. Manages routine deliveries.

  • Administrative Support - Provides administrative support to the Division of Marketing & Communications. Assist with scheduling and organizing appointments for key organizational leaders. Provides logistical and administrative support for meetings or other special functions. Updates reports and operational manuals as deemed appropriate. Serves as the liaison for departmental equipment service contracts and supply purchases. Performs other duties as assigned.
