Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Three years of experience in office administration.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Planning and organization skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Experience:

  • Five years of administrative support to management.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge and skills on Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:

  • General Administration - Provides administrative support to the Dean of Faculties, as well as to three Associate Dean of Faculties. This includes but is not limited to planning, scheduling, and coordinating meetings, preparing daily agendas and supporting documentation for scheduled meeting, coordinating travel arrangements and itineraries, preparing presentations for meetings, and preparing correspondence and reports.

  • Confidential Matters - Provides support in the management of confidential matters, including assisting with confidential documentation drafts, open records requests, CAFRT and UGC hearings, processes and procedures, employment decisions, and faculty grievance issues.

  • Events - Provides support in the preparation and delivery of special events. This includes but is not limited to New Faculty Orientation, New Academic Leaders Orientation, and Faculty Retirement.

  • Other Duties - Performs other duties as assigned.
