Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | Coordinates and manages the the Introduction to Clinical Medicine (ICM) courses by performing various administrative duties related to the development and management of course curriculum. Also assists Assistant Dean for Clinical Learning by managing and maintaining the ICM database and preparing reports. Coordinates Faculty speakers for the ICM program approx. 50-100 a year, makes travel arrangements and expenses for the program. Demonstrate commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree and 1 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. |
Preferred Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. Familiarity with medical terminology beneficial. |
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | Experience with personal computer utilizing Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Ability to learn new software programs and calendar management. The ability to work with limited supervision and to meet deadlines. Ability to work with a variety of people. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. |
Job Duties
Job Duty | Coordinate and help recruit invited faculty to confirm lectures, arrange reserved parking, and obtain and post updated lecture material. Prepares the syllabus and schedule for each semester and works with the course director for ICM-1 final determination. Serve as an assistant proctor. Obtain and manage attendance at all required lectures. Manage the set-up and assist with grade entry for Blackboard each semester. |
