Job Summary

Coordinate all events and activities within the Internal Medicine Residency Program.  Manage the noon conference schedule and lunch calendar, concur, resident reimbursements, and training verifications.  Assist in the management of office calendars, including being the administrative assistant to Program Director, and maintaining day to day functions of the program and the residents.  In conjunction with the program coordinator, assign program evaluations.  In addition, maintain maintenance and upkeep of residency website for curriculum for residents.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate all program events and activities within the internal medicine residency program.  Includes but not limited to, SAR dinner, Intern Welcome Party, all retreats, etc.  Manage the lunch calendar daily while maintaining budgets set forth by the senior administrator. 

Administer program evaluations in conjunction with the program coordinator to ensure the program is adhering to all ACGME evaluation requirements.  Collect and disseminate quarterly reports and review with program coordinator, program director and APD for curriculum.  With program coordinator, process Program Letters of Agreement necessary for resident rotations.

Manage CONCUR transactions for the program as well as resident reimbursements.  Direct oversight of training verifications and management of online payments.  Maintain maintenance and upkeep of the residency website for curriculum for residents.  Serve as administrator assistant to program director.

Minimum Qualifications


Education

Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.


Experience

Work requires three years of experience in program administration or OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE involving academic, instructional or counseling activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events.
