Job Description

Job Summary/Basic Function:

Provides advanced secretarial and administrative assistance. Responsible for the acquisition and procurement of items for the department. Monitors budget, accounts, and expenditures. Processes invoices, maintains summaries of statements, and reconciles accounts. Manage and maintain schedules and travel arrangements for department staff, prepare itineraries, and process travel and expense reimbursement requests.

Assist with the implementation and maintenance of marketing and promoting of the Student Wellness & Counseling Center to the community, faculty, and students, including social media management, email communications and the department Canvas page.

Performs specialized tasks requiring a high level of skill in typing, note taking, preparing reports, assisting with special studies, research data etc. Provides customer service in person and virtually through a variety of platforms. Develops memos and letters for signature of Student Wellness & Counseling Center administrator. Routes mail, and directs the filing of materials. Maintains a variety of fiscal, administrative, and mental health records with the highest degree of professional confidentiality.

Required Education/Experience/Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; 4 years of secretarial/clerical/administrative experience.

PreferredExcellent written and oral communication skills, must be detailed oriented and able to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.

Minimum requirements

Education - High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Experience- Four years of related experience.

Knowledge of- word processing, Excel and similar spreadsheets, database, and presentation applications.

Ability to - multitask and work cooperatively with others. Interpersonal and communication skills. Planning and organization skills. Must be detailed oriented.

Hours: Up to 19.5 hrs/wk
Salary: $12.31 hourly
