Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience:

  • Four years of related experience

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Planning and organizational skills

Preferred Education:

  • Associate Degree and/or Bachelor Degree Preferred

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with diverse individuals and communities.
  • Previous experience in higher education medical field
  • Two years of experience as an executive administrator level assistant

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the dean’s calendar to include all scheduling
  • Support the dean in all meetings to include preparation for the meetings, meeting notes and follow-up
  • Project support to include careful adherence to College of Medicine policy and regulations
  • Handle all travel planning arrangements, itineraries and expenditures
  • Assists with data collection and assessment of program outcomes
  • Support the mission of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
