Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient support by answering calls, scheduling appointments, assisting patients with the check-in and check-out procedures including taking payments.

  • Input and verify all laboratory orders, charges, and payments.  Make check deposits. Conduct weekly inventory.

  • Monitor and follow up on patient messages and requests. Prepare general correspondences on behalf of the Health Services clinical team and health administrators.  Serve as a member of the Health Services customer service committee and manage the clinic customer service assessments.

  • Provide support for Medical Services student workers and volunteers as well as wellness events including set up, break down, information dissemination, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Three years of related experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.

  • Three years of healthcare experience.
