Provide direct patient support by answering calls, scheduling appointments, assisting patients with the check-in and check-out procedures including taking payments.
Input and verify all laboratory orders, charges, and payments. Make check deposits. Conduct weekly inventory.
Monitor and follow up on patient messages and requests. Prepare general correspondences on behalf of the Health Services clinical team and health administrators. Serve as a member of the Health Services customer service committee and manage the clinic customer service assessments.
Provide support for Medical Services student workers and volunteers as well as wellness events including set up, break down, information dissemination, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Three years of healthcare experience.
