Initiates paperwork and electronic documents for the department; and, entering and extracting data from Banner.
Assists with office projects; maintains departmental for property management and orders supplies. Initiates and processes position actions, hiring requests and other personnel related actions for faculty and students within the department and college.
Assists with maintaining the departmental budget, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and taking notes in departmental and program area meetings.
Answers emails (departmental and program area accounts) and; enters data for state and national mandated documents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma
Three years of related experience.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Associate's degree.
Three or more years of administrative support experience.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Banner, CANVAS, Adobe Professional and other data processing software.
Master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills (written and oral) and a positive attitude.
Must be attentive to detail.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
