Administrative Associate III

  • Initiates paperwork and electronic documents for the department; and, entering and extracting data from Banner.

  • Assists with office projects; maintains departmental for property management and orders supplies. Initiates and processes position actions, hiring requests and other personnel related actions for faculty and students within the department and college.

  • Assists with maintaining the departmental budget, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and taking notes in departmental and program area meetings.

  • Answers emails (departmental and program area accounts) and; enters data for state and national mandated documents.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma

  • Three years of related experience.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Associate's degree.

  • Three or more years of administrative support experience.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Banner, CANVAS, Adobe Professional and other data processing software.

  • Master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills (written and oral) and a positive attitude.

  • Must be attentive to detail.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
