Administrative Assistant

Primary administrative support for the Director of Accreditation, Assessment and Research in the College of Education, Human Performance and Health including daily maintenance and customer/client support of internal databases.
  • Effectively utilize (data entry, data validation, data reporting) various internal software systems to facilitate external accreditation requirements, including LiveText, GoReact, and Google; coordinate and schedule meetings with internal and external partners; update school and student information, and modify placements as needed.
  • Serve as the primary contact to users and clients of the LiveText, GoReact, and Google software databases, to include coordinating new accounts and assisting students with registration and access; and provide effective and timely communication and support.
  • Coordinate the evaluation process: distribute, monitor and collect evaluations of cooperating teachers and university supervisors; assist with alumni and employer surveys; create and distribute reports internally.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Accreditation, Assessment and Research.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or high school diploma and four years of related experience or equivalency. Successful background check is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in public education environment and at least 2 years of data entry, database software, or data analysis is preferred.
Utilize software applications at a high level of efficiency and effectiveness (LiveText, GoReact, Google, Banner, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat/Adobe Reader); plan and prioritize tasks on multiple schedules and calendars; locate and utilize resources independently and proactively. Confidentiality, Customer Contact, Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to source resources and knowledge independently, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
