We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site, Administrative Assistant in our Disability Access Center (DAC). This position provides administrative support to the three areas that make up the DAC and assists with DAC’s Testing Center. The pay for this position is $16.06.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the department and be the first point of contact.
  • Manage phone calls, email, scheduling meetings, and student programming.
  • Document and maintain records to create office operation efficiencies.
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot inquiries related to accommodations, testing, and daily operations.
  • Assist with purchasing and department budget reconciliation.
  • Assist with Testing Center, including being the main contact, exam administration, proctoring, and other services as needed.
  • Serve on committees.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of office clerical or administrative experience.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including email, phone, and in-person communication.
  • Ability to assist in managing competing priorities with frequent interruptions and troubleshoot, as needed.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow and maintain an organizational structure.
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Proficiency with desktop computer applications and programs.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and utilize new software technology.
  • Demonstrate a high-level of situational awareness.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and collaborative team-oriented work environment.
