The Rubel School of Business invites applications for an Administrative Assistant who will provide administrative support for the dean, program chairs, and faculty. Typical duties include issuing contracts for part-time faculty; processing new hires; maintaining load reports for full-time faculty; maintaining electronic syllabi files and faculty records; processing purchase orders, check requests, and reimbursements; fulfilling accreditation requirements; coordinating faculty recruitment and travel; maintaining records for various reports and surveys; and coordinating work through other offices as needed. Additional responsibilities may include assisting in various events by making room and food arrangements, taking minutes at Rubel faculty meetings, performing routine clerical duties related to the office, and other essential tasks assigned by the dean. 


Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative support role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented and efficient
  • Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Outlook, email)
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments, while accommodating walk-ins and unexpected needs
