Job Description

The position reports directly to the Director, Office for Sponsored Programs and assists the Director in the management of the office by performing the following functions:

  •  Collaborate with Director and Associate Directors and OSP Sponsored Programs Administration Teams on all office business matters.
  •  Update OSP Operating Manuals in conjunction with the Director and Associate Directors.
  • Work with Director on all department purchases.
  • Assist in editing monthly proposal and award reports.
  • Assist with design of OSP Newsletter and office materials.
  • Enter all checks and wired funds received from sponsors into the banking system.
  • Receive and distribute grant journal entry transactions to OSP Sponsored Programs Administration Teams.
  • Coordinate distribution of grant termination notices to departments.
  • Process grant refund checks to sponsors.
  • Assist with special projects.

Hiring Range: $24.09/hr to $30.11/hr. Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 2-5 years’ experience working in similar position. 
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment is required.
  • Experience with Peoplesoft Financial systems is preferred.
