Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree
preferred. A minimum of two years of office experience is required. Previous experience in a higher education is a plus. The successful candidate will:
• Possess the ability to successfully function in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization, organizational and administrative skills.
• Have excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and the flexibility to adapt to new technology and various computer/software applications.
• Ability to access and research information via the Internet and respond to telephone inquiries.
• Extremely strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to communicate and interact effectively with diverse backgrounds and across multiple levels.
• Value and provide confidentiality around sensitive issues and determine appropriate levels of communication around sensitive information.
• Display self-motivation and initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrate dependability, strong work ethic and the ability to make some independent decisions.
• Represent the Undergraduate Office in a professional manner and work successfully with college age students.
