ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL)- Supply Chain Exchange (SCE), to perform complex and diverse administrative, customer service, and logistics duties in support of SCE operations and initiatives, including communication with SCE partners, SCE and CTL Executive Education events, partner engagement, customer service, and information system use and updating.  Responsibilities include setting up, monitoring, and managing event registrations; using CTL information systems to keep partner accounts up-to-date; acting as point-of-contact for event registrants and prospects; producing and analyzing reports; communicating with partners and prospects; maintaining use-or-lose list; processing customer requests; providing administrative support for SCE operations; monitoring event registrations; customer engagement tracking; updating partner records; communicating SCE event needs and requirements; assisting with the planning and coordinating of high-profile events, e.g., developing invitation lists, sending invitations, confirming attendees, arranging speakers, ordering refreshments, etc.; providing day-of event support; checking website for inaccuracies; and performing related duties as required. 


Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  high school diploma or its equivalent; at least two years’ experience providing professional administrative support; excellent organizational, writing, interpersonal, and customer service skills; good judgment, tact, and discretion; proficiency with Salesforce, Blackthorn, Sched, spreadsheet and presentation software, and MS Office; familiarity with website editing and ability and willingness to learn new programs; and attention to detail.  Must be able to work with and perform data analysis; interact effectively across all levels, both internally at MIT and internationally with sponsors; function both independently and as a team member; take ownership of work; and multitask, follow up on all action items, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.  PREFERRED:  bachelor’s degree and ability to take dictation and transcribe into electronic format.  Job #21921-4
