•Previous administrative/secretarial experience
•Skill in editing for spelling, punctuation, and grammar
•Fluency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
•Skill in speaking clearly and distinctly using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and convey information at various organizational levels within and outside of the University.
•Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
•Ability to interpret University, State, and Federal staff personnel/payroll policies/procedures and collective bargaining agreements.
•Familiarity with UCPATH and PAR system.
•General knowledge of the University personnel/payroll policies and processes.
•Working knowledge of graduate and postdoctoral scholar appointments
•Skill in recruitment processes.
•Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of data and to use discretion and judgment.
